SHORTWAVE @ In The City

Shortwave are to play at this years In The City event, the musical equivalent of Cannes, and lets be honest now, does the industry know what they have let themselves in for? Lets hope not, surprises are always fun.

The excitement of the occasion will almost undoubtedly lead to another first class gig of unprecedented spontaneity with that blistering soundtrack. What will happen is anyone's guess, but needless to say best suits have been packed in case of a Monday morning court appearance. We are only joking, of course, but if you want to make sure check them out on Sunday 24th September @ ATLAS BAR, Deansgate, Manchester. They'll be on stage at 8.45. Video news: Lorna's "We will never grow old" and Shortwave's "If it all ends" video's complete.

The video to the Lorna track "We will never grow old" is in the last stages of editing by Acacia Media. The whole video has a very "Stand by me" feel and shall be making it's way on to the web soon. Shortwave's "If it all ends" video has been shot and is again in the final editing stages. This is looking good with steam railways and ballroom dancers!

Both of them will be available on an Intromit video collection also featuring Livener's "Long Lost" video. This will appear as IMIT-V-12 sometime in the near future. Plans are to include some live footage from the next Intromit nights.
