LORNA CAR CRASH

Sorry to all folks wanting to see Lorna and Silverman in Worcester but due to unforeseen circumstance ie. a stolen car coming the wrong way through a tunnel, down a duel carriage way (A38)! led to the gig being canceled.

A pretty nasty accident by all accounts. The car involved in the collision was Mark's (a write off) containing himself and bassist Andy. Both suffered severe whiplash, cuts, bruises and shock with lots of hospital appointments to follow. Both were very lucky as the the stolen car hit the car in front of them, leaving the occupants "not looking in a good way" and the joy rider..... well fuck him, who cares?

We wish them both a speedy recovery and hope it hasn't put them off life on the road!

Shortwave - Barfly filming of Monarch gig Shortwave's gig at Camden Monarch was filmed by Barfly and should be going out on the Barfly Sessions next series (Channel 4). We'll confirm dates here when we have them. A very lively gig with the usual spontaneity a Shortwave gig conjures up. Extra special highlights include an immense "B-side" and a stunning "Keep Faith". Off stage antics are tabloid material and better not mentioned here. Don't thank god for the end of pretty-boy corporate indie bands with acoustic guitars and nothing to say, thank Shortwave.
